About Me
I’m Carrie Suzanne, a painter, poet, and photographer who attempts to make the unseen inner world visible. My paintings emerge from movement and gesture—layers of marks, brushstrokes, and color that carry the rhythm of both hands at once.

My poetry and photographs share the same spirit: plainspoken, symbolic, and honest. My art is about transformation, memory, and the beauty of what surfaces when we let go.

Why I Share
My intent is simple: to share my work and create connection. When someone resonates with a painting, poem, or image, it’s a reminder that the same spark in me lives in you too. Art is one of the ways we recognize each other beneath the surface.

I’m especially excited to share my very first collection with you below. It’s where all of these impulses — intuition, rhythm, and connection — have come together on canvas for the first time.

RESONANCE

My First Collection
This debut collection is inspired by music — many titles echo rhythm, harmony, or song. When I paint, I enter a flow where time falls away. Using acrylic, spray paint, pencils, and oil sticks, I layer marks and brushstrokes until the painting itself shows me the next move.

I paint with both hands at once, so symmetry often surfaces with a quiet rhythm — a mirror of integration. I don’t plan the outcome or judge it along the way. I let the canvas speak back, over and over, until the work resolves like the last note of a song.

It’s my hope that this collection begins conversations — between you and me, and between you and the people in your own circle. When art sparks a moment of recognition, it reminds us of the common spark we share.
